Plea for Volunteers

Hello BMD Members, Families and Friends,

The Blow-Me-Down Snowriders have continuously provided snowmobile trails in Plainfield and Cornish for over 50 years with the help of the gracious landowners and numerous volunteers whom have given countless hours to everyone’s benefit.  One of the most crucial attributes to the success over these years has been the annual food booth at the Cornish Fair.  The core leaders and volunteers have been the main ingredient since the beginning of this valuable fundraiser.  Those who have dedicated their time year after year are looking for a new generation of replacements to help carry this legacy on.   If a new round of volunteers doesn’t step into these roles, then the club will have no choice but to give up the cherished Cornish Fair tradition.

This will be the main topic of discussion at the next BMD club meeting on Tuesday, April 12 at 7pm as the reservation for the fair is due soon.  If you or anyone you know would like to help organize and volunteer for the Blow-Me-Down Snowriders food booth at the Cornish fair please reach out to the club or plan to attend this very important meeting which will be held at Gil Wilson’s garage, 169 Route 120, Plainfield NH.

Thank you,

Reginald “Reggie” Tyler

President
