Cornish Fair August 19,20 and 21

Good Afternoon BMD Members,

The Cornish Fair is just around the corner (August 19, 20, and 21, 2022)!

As you are aware, the food booth at the Cornish Fair is the club’s sole fundraising event.   The booth will be open for business from 11AM – 8PM on Friday and Saturday, and from 11AM – 4PM on Sunday; or, until we run out of food.

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, it is anticipated that the booth is going to be busier than ever.  That being said, club members are strongly encouraged to commit to working/volunteering at least a four (4) hour shift sometime during the Fair.  There is a myriad of duties to be performed; all while enjoying the camaraderie that can only be found in the BMD booth.

New this year, volunteers are requested to please sign-in and out (for tracking purposes).

As an incentive to encourage club member volunteerism at the Fair, it was unanimously approved at our last meeting, that the net profit from the 2022 Cornish Fair would be set side and utilized solely for club activities.   Club members who volunteer a total of 8 hours (or more) over the course of the 2022 Cornish Fair will be eligible to participate in these activities/events (which have yet to be identified).

Set-up of the booth will take place on Tuesday, 8/16/22 from 3:30 – 5:30PM.  If your schedule allows, please consider lending a helping hand…….Many hands make light work.
